We do Writing and Read to Self. After Read to Self we do Read to Someone. We did french games with cards. We did Learning Buddies with grade 1/2's. We do math the easy way. I had an awesome day. Chris
I am writing a story about Knights. We played a card game in French. Josh
You both flip cards over and say you flip over a one and your partner flips over a two then the first person to say deuze gets both cards. Matthew
The french card game was hard because you don't know what the numbers are sometimes. S
We had to say the number in french. We had math with place value it was hard but it was fun. Destiny
We did math work with building blocks. Then we played a french game with cards. Dhemir
In Social Studies Ms. McAuley was showing us aboriginal things like containers and pouches made out of Buffalo hide. She told us that Aboriginals used to use buffalo bladders as water bottles :p! We also got a venus fly trap for our classroom! We watched it eat a couple fruit flies! Hannah
At school we touched Aboriginal things. All the things were made of buffalo. I especially liked the box made of hide. There was also a bladder that was dried. They drank out of it! I would never drink out of a bladder. The Aboriginals also used buffalo hides for clothes. Kayne
We are learning about Aboriginals and their way of life back then and working with building base 10 blocks. Tyson
We have been studying the buffalo and bison in Social Studies and we learned a card game in French. D
We used base ten blocks and I get it! April
In art we are going to make buffalo using paint with our fingers. Xiomara
I got to write what the aboriginals used the buffalo's brains for and I wrote eating. Later we are going to paint with fingers. Nicolas
Our class brought in toonies to bring in a hat and all the money goes to cancer research. Kathleen
I wore my bedazzled Jets hat. We could also buy popcorn for $1.00 or $1.50 for seasoning. Gabby
In library I'm going to take out the best book ever! Kira
We wrote our blog today and Ms. McAuley said 8 people were on our blog. Nyesha
We all enjoy learning about the buffalo because there are so many interesting facts about it. Devon
Well, this week at school we learned more about the aboriginals and their culture. We learned that parts of the buffalo are very useful including: bones, meat, fur,and hide. All parts of their body are very useful. We learned that raw hide can be used for making containers, baby rattles, and the tops of drums the part you play on. Abby
